About the Associated Student Government

Grow your leadership and advocacy skills by becoming a member of the Associated Student Government (ASG). The Mission College ASG is a student-run organization that strives to make Mission College a place where all students are represented. ASG advocates for student voices through the planning and sponsoring of campus-wide events, student representation on college and district-wide committees, and by participating in state-wide advocacy initiatives.

*Please note the interest form is not an official petition.  Official petition forms will be emailed to qualified candidates from the Office of Student Life directly. Petitions to run for Student Senate are due March 29th.

ASG Membership Requirements 

  • Enroll in five (5) units with a GPA of 2.0 or higher.  
  • Attend at least two (2) ASG meetings before petitioning for office.  
  • Be available to attend all ASG Senate Meetings (Mondays at 3:30pm) 
  • Commit three (3) to five (5) hours weekly for ASG office responsibilities if confirmed.
